The 4MedPlus Certificate of Basic Provider Order Entry Proficiency (CBPOEP) course provides comprehensive guidance for eligible clinicians, consultants, and practice managers on Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE). CPOE has become fundamental to Health IT and government incentive programs. In fact, CPOE has been incorporated into core ONC requirements for Certified EHR Technology (CEHRT). It is not possible to meet government reporting and quality improvement goals without proper use of CPOE. In fact, CMS has indicated that it will be mandatory for all clinicians who participate in MACRA-MIPS.

PLUS++ This course includes a hands-on practice session intended to give learners experience executing a standard EHR/CPOE medication order with CDSS warning notiifcation.
