
The Certificate of Cures Act Proficiency (COCAP) course provides a comprehensive understanding of the 21st Century ONC Cures Act and all final rule provisions.
The Cures Act is a federal law that aims to improve healthcare by making it easier for patients to access their electronic health information (EHI) and by increasing the use of technology in healthcare. The Act requires that healthcare providers give patients access without charge to all the health information in their electronic medical records “without delay", with provisions focused on advancing interoperability and eliminating information blocking.
