The Certificate of Veterinary Compassionate Care Proficiency (CVCCP) with AI Exercise
The Veterinary Compassionate Care Proficiency course guides learners through important skills required for discussing difficult topics and end-of-life care with pet owners. Compassionate care is an important category of veterinary medicine that requires a comprehensive understanding of social and emotional communication. This course details recommendations for providers at all levels of veterinary service to employ when addressing this common and yet complicated area of care.
The dynamic AI Skillbuilder exercise provides the learner with a virtual pet owner encounter to help develop expertise around compassionate communication.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
APPROVAL: This program 1208-41987 is approved by the AAVSB RACE to offer a total of 1.25 CE Credits (1.25 max) being available to any one veterinarian: and/or 1.25 Veterinary Technician CE Credits (1.25 max). Participants should verify recognition with their state board(s) and should be aware that some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions of certain methods of delivery of continuing education.
